Why Open Source?

We normally use open-source, rather than proprietary systems for our software development. We believe that this is better for the client for a number of reasons:

• Open Source software is generally maintained by a large community of software developers and usually has a very wide installed base.
• From the client's perspective, it is much easier to maintain and develop a website based on open-source technology rather than closed-source systems.
• The client has a much wider base of developers and maintainers to choose from.
• We continue the open source philosophy by giving the client access to all source code etc of their website
